Along with so many other companies we no longer accept cheques or cash. We suffer like most from lack of branches in which to conduct these once everyday banking activities.
We accept payment by BACS or using Worldpay (until very recently a division of RBS) who administer our card payment system.
Card payments are made using a “pay by link” method. We ask WorldPay to issue directly to the client an eMail link which is executable, clicking this takes the client to the ultra secure environment Worldpay have created, entering the chosen card details there Worldpay accept or decline the transaction and advise us accordingly.
This means Shutter Perfection do not take nor hold any card details whatsoever, and so comply with the very highest standards of electronic money transfer standards.
Shutter perfection time line for sales is as follows. First we issue a proposal forming the basis of our contract and from of supply. This carries all the headline details including a price and maybe an offer price showing discount or special considerations. With your explicit approval we then send two pro forma sales orders, usually sequentially numbered, representing around 50% of the agreed price on each. One is for commissioning one for supply and installation. On payment of the commissioning one a receipt is issued and the shutters go into production. when we have the shutters in our hands we arrange installation and the second pro forma become live and payment is expected.
We draw your attention to the fact that tardiness in payment of the second pro forma will significantly affect your warranty and in the longer term will lead to civil recovery methods that are open to us.
