There are several louvre widths available on all shutters, basic sizes range from 32 mm wide to 114 mm but not all materials lend themselves to the full spectrum of sizes.
Here is a list of the options

• CedarWood: 32, 47 mm, 64 mm, 89 mm & 114 mm
• BassWood: 32 mm, 47 mm, 64 mm, 64 mm S shaped, 89 mm & 114 mm
• LarchWood: 47 mm, 64 mm & 89 mm
• PermaWood: 47 mm, 64 mm, 89 mm & 114 mm
• CoralWood: 47 mm, 64 mm & 89 mm
• CraftWood: 47 mm, 64 mm, 89 mm & 114 mm

Larger louvres offer higher levels of light admittance, in an open position but less privacy, the most common choice is the 64 or 89m option.

The louvres are controlled by a tilt rod, this can be central in the panel as above or offset (usually by 25 mm) depending if the panels fold or not, there is also a completely hidden option and should you so choose a remote controlled offering, sounds a little odd until you consider these shutters can also be used in non too accessible locations

Fixe Louvre Options

Available in two positions:closed or open at angle. Louvre sizes depend on material, though 32 mm Louvre is not available.
The standard default orientation for Fixed louvres is Closed ‘Dress Down’ with the bottom edge of louvres to the front of the panel. ‘Dress Up’fied on the order form.

NB. Note that normal orientation for adjustable louvres when closed is in the ‘Dress Up’ state
